Concrete surface hardener is a water-soluble liquid chemical hardening agent, primarily composed of alkali metal silicates or modified silicates, with added catalysts and auxiliaries. It appears as a colorless transparent liquid and is available in both single-component and dual-component types^[1]. When applied to the concrete surface, it penetrates into the interior and reacts with calcium hydroxide to form silica gel, which blocks capillary pores to enhance density, compressive strength, and wear resistance, increasing concrete strength by 15%-30%.

This product is suitable for hardening treatment of formed cement mortar or concrete surfaces, effectively repairing floors with insufficient strength, dusting, or sanding issues, though it cannot improve appearance damage^[1]. Newly constructed floors require curing for at least 7 days to ensure penetration effectiveness, though some products can shorten this to 24 hours. Application is done via low-pressure spraying or brushing, with effects becoming apparent after 24 hours of natural drying. Combined with polishing, it enhances penetration and achieves a marble-like effect. The typical usage rate is 1-2 square meters per kilogram, though specific amounts should be determined based on floor testing.
